Built around how cars actually get prepared.

CarsQC is quality-control software for car dealerships and detailers. One system carries a car from the moment it arrives to the moment the customer drives away: checklists in the bay, photos on every check, a live board in the office, and a signed report at the end.

What checklists can I run?

Every car gets a job, keyed to its VIN, with the checklists your business actually uses. Dealers run new-car PDI, used-car reconditioning and pre-sale safety checks, and delivery and handover. Detailers run pre-detail condition reports, full details, paint correction and ceramic coating, and PPF and tint QC. The team ticks each check on a phone or tablet beside the car, and every tick records who, when and at which branch. Start from the starter templates or build your own.

Because a check can't be skipped quietly, "she'll be right" turns into a named, timestamped decision. That alone changes behaviour in the workshop.

How do photos and condition reports work?

Any check can carry photos taken straight from the phone camera. For a detailer, that turns the first walk-around into a condition report: every stone chip, scratch, swirl and kerbed wheel photographed and noted before the car is touched, then shared with the owner as a PDF. For a dealer, it's the evidence behind a recon decision or a delivery sign-off.

When a customer says "that wasn't there before", the answer is a dated photo with a name on it — not your word against theirs.

What's in the signed PDF report?

When the last check is done, CarsQC generates a branded report: every stage, every check, who signed it off and when, with the customer, vehicle and VIN on top. Dealers hand it over with the keys; detailers send it with the invoice to show exactly what a premium job included.

Months later, when a conversation starts with "it was never checked" — you open the report. It usually ends the conversation.

How does issue flagging work?

Anyone can raise a flag against a check — a photo, a note, done in seconds from the same screen they're ticking. A flagged car can't be signed off until the rework is done and the check passes again, and the whole trail stays on the job.

Faults stop travelling. The car that "was going to get sorted before delivery" actually does, because the system won't let it be signed off otherwise.

How does multi-branch tracking work?

Each branch — dealership, used-car recon centre, detailing studio — runs its own live QC board, and head office sees them all in one view: which cars are in PDI, which are in recon, what's flagged, what's ready to deliver. Roles keep it clean: technicians see their jobs, managers see their branch, owners see the lot.

The "is that car ready yet?" phone call dies. If a car's state isn't on the board, it didn't happen.

Does it connect to Cin7, Xero and Zoho?

Yes — optionally. Turn on the Cin7, Xero or Zoho Books connector in your settings and CarsQC looks up the customer and order details when you create a job, so names and vehicles land on checklists and reports exactly as they appear in your source system. Cin7 and Xero also carry the VIN straight through; on Zoho Books there's no VIN field to pull yet, so that's still typed by hand. No double entry, no misspelt surname on a customer's report.

Connectors are per-tenant and off by default: your credentials, entered by you, used only for lookups. Run with no integrations at all and everything still works — the connector layer is built to grow, with more links on the roadmap.

Where does my data live — and can I get it out?

Your QC records are yours, and CarsQC treats that literally. Point the backup connector at your own SharePoint (your Microsoft 365 tenancy, your credentials) and scheduled off-site backups land where you — not we — hold the keys. Prefer not to connect anything? Download a complete backup whenever you like.

Inspection records back warranty claims, customer disputes and resale value for years. They shouldn't be hostage to any software vendor — including us. That's the deal.

Who can see and do what?

Role-based access keeps the system honest: technicians and detailers tick and flag, inspectors sign off stages, managers run branches, admins run the company. Every action is attributed — a tick without a name is worthless in a dispute, so there's no such thing here.

Passwords are stored salted and hashed, sessions are signed, and sign-in with Google is available if that's how your team already works.
